There are 2 sites on opposite sides if the road. The one on the west side us a modern spa complex with the thermal bath etc. Across the road is the original Roman bathhouse with 2 small pools. These are not thermal. €5.30 each. Pool caps are required, available for a small fee. Flipflops and a bath robe are the dress code. There is a walk from the changing rooms to the pools.

It's a real hot springs. The road to get there is impressive. The village is less interesting

First we were with the physio and the massage was short 😁 with Pablo, very attentive. I loved the Roman tour and the man who treated us was spectacular. After the pool and we left super relaxed Recommended 💯 x 💯. The water is from a spring.

Very nice town, with routes for walking or cycling, which are very beautiful and surrounded by nature. Beautiful views from the old station and curious tunnel with automatic lighting. The old mill in the middle of the waterfall is also essential to see.

We came to Baños de Montemayor for hiking and sightseeing, but having arrived in the rain, we opted for a treatment at the seaside thermal baths. Our hotel provided us with a certificate to benefit from a 10% discount. We took the “circuito romano”. It was the first time we went to a thermal bath, we really enjoyed it. The water is hot and sulfurous. You come with your swimsuit and flip flops. The establishment will give you a bathrobe and a hat. You book in advance and complete a health questionnaire. It's very professional. The staff is very friendly. The thermal baths date back to the Romans, there is a small free museum.

For the 37 euros it cost us per person, it is not worth it at all, it was not what we expected from a spa. The Roman tour, bad and simple, is basically a hot tub and two saunas and to finish off a small pool full of people. The girl at the reception was quite nice but the lady who guided us on the circuit couldn't have been more unfriendly. The treatment we saw given to older people also left a lot to be desired.
